Rick graduated from Lake Washington Technical College in Environmental Horticulture and is a Certified Professional Horticulturist [CPH]. He has worked as an estate gardener, retail nursery sales & management and plant propagation. He has a special passion for creating handcrafted metal garden art, hypertufa garden bowls, birdbaths, troughs, planters, garden art walls, faux rocks and other hybrid concrete art objects. He grows and gardens with native plants for more sustainable, lower maintenance, user friendly gardens. Jan works  full-time at REI Adventures as well as working in the gardens and on various garden art projects. Their home-based business is located between Auburn & Black Diamond, WA.

One of our primary goals is to create extraordinary and distinctively enjoyable experiences through garden art. Its purpose is to add focal points as well as diversity in your garden and quite simply, to make you smile. Whether its a display of floating dragonflies in flight, a hand-crafted birdbath, garden bowl or a one-of-a-kind mosaic, we hope they inspire and motivate you to spend more time in your gardens.
